MEDJUGORJE

DAY 1: HOME CITY / DUBROVNIK or SPLIT / MEDJUGORJE

Arrival and transfer to Medjugorje. Check-in and accommodation. The phenomenon of Medjugorje is attributed to the testimony of six children who claim that the Virgin Mary has been appearing to them since 1981; they continue to experience this phenomenon today, which they believe is a message from the Virgin Mary. Accommodation.

DAY 2: MEDJUGORJE

Breakfast. During this day, our guide will introduce us to Medjugorje, its history, its most important places, and talk about the lives of the visionaries, etc. We will visit the Sanctuary and the town of Medjugorje. We will start at the Parish of St. James, where outside you can see the image of the Virgin of Peace and the square where the evening Church program takes place (Rosary, Holy Mass, Adoration, Healing Prayer, Veneration of the Cross…) and the large gatherings, such as the Youth Festival. In the afternoon, we will have free time until 5:00 pm when we will join the evening program of the Parish for the Rosary prayer. After the 6:00 pm Mass, religious objects will be blessed. DAY 3: MEDJUGORJE

Breakfast. In the morning, we will head to Podbrdo (Hill of Apparitions), where the houses of the visionaries are located. Here, we will receive an explanation of the apparitions from an official guide of the Parish. We will climb the hill while praying the Rosary. Next, we will visit the Cenacolo community, where we will have the opportunity to hear testimonies from some of its members. In the afternoon, we will have free time until 5:00 pm when we will join the evening program of the Parish for the Rosary prayer. After the 6:00 pm Mass, religious objects will be blessed. DAY 4: MEDJUGORJE

Breakfast. In the morning, we will climb Krizevac (Cross Mountain) and do the Stations of the Cross. In the afternoon, we will have free time until 5:00 pm when we will join the evening program of the Parish for the Rosary prayer. After the 6:00 pm Mass, religious objects will be blessed. Accommodation.

DAY 5: MEDJUGORJE / DUBROVNIK OR SPLIT / HOME CITY

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.

NOTES

• During winter, due to the limited frequency of direct flights to Dubrovnik, flights may have to go through 2 cities, which could lead to changes in the order and schedule of visits.
• Due to climatic conditions, both in summer with excessive heat and in winter with excessive cold, the ascent to the Hill of Apparitions and Krizevac will be done at the best time indicated by the guide, either very early or when it’s not too hot.
• The itinerary may vary at the guide’s discretion, depending on availability and events of the day.
• The Mass schedule may vary depending on the season.
• Group price is subject to a minimum occupancy of 40 passengers. For smaller groups, please inquire about the price.

Important Notes:

1. The first night is always without dinner, even if the tour booked includes half board.
2. Spanish-speaking drivers during transfers are not guaranteed.
3. Transfers included are only on the first (arrival) and last (departure) days of the tour. Any other day will be charged as an additional transfer.
