Porters:

Regular Tours DO NOT INCLUDE porter service at hotels. Please give them a tip.

Hotel Check-in and Check-out:
Hotel check-in is from 3:00 pm onwards and check-out is until 12:00 pm.

Guides and Drivers:

Tour Guides and Drivers earn a significant portion of their income from tips. Please always give them a tip. It is recommended $4 USD per day per person for the guide and $3 USD per day per person for the driver.

Breakfasts and Dinners:

All our Tours include a buffet breakfast at hotels unless the itinerary description says otherwise. Our Tours can also be booked with half board (breakfasts and dinners at hotels).

CANCELLATION FEES:

• Cancellation 91 Days or more before arrival at the destination, no cancellation fees.
• Cancellation 90 to 61 Days before arrival at the destination, a 25% fee will apply.
• Cancellation 60 to 46 Days before arrival at the destination, a 50% fee will apply.
• Cancellation 45 to 31 Days before arrival at the destination, a 75% fee will apply.
• Cancellation 30 Days or less before arrival at the destination, a 100% fee will apply.
• For No Show or if the Passenger is denied entry to the destination, a 100% fee will apply.

FLIGHTS:

Flight information must be sent no later than 45 days before arrival at the destination. Failure to provide this information does not guarantee confirmation of the transfer.

INCLUDED TRANSFERS AND SPECIAL TRANSFERS:

When a passenger purchases one of our Regular Circuits, we include arrival and departure transfers at no additional cost. These transfers, from the Airport to the Circuit Hotel (at the beginning) and from the Circuit Hotel to the Airport (at the end), are a service we provide as long as these transfers are at the start or end of the Circuit (day of start and day of completion of the Circuit).

When a passenger purchases additional nights before or after the Circuit, the arrival and departure transfers are NOT included in the price of the Circuit and, if required, will be billed according to the transfer rates listed in the Price List.

If a Passenger books additional nights in a city other than where the Circuit begins or ends, that is, if they “change” cities between the additional nights and the Circuit, the “city change” transfer is NOT included, and if required, will be billed according to the transfer rates listed in the Price List.

Transfers included in the price of the circuits, at no additional cost, are arrival and departure transfers, provided these transfers are on the day of the start and the day of the completion of the circuit.

WAITING TIMES FOR TRANSFERS:

Our staff will be at the airport for a MAXIMUM OF 90 MINUTES from the arrival of the passenger’s flight.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Most of the buses operating circuits in various destinations around the world have passenger coverage insurance in case of a car accident. However, it is essential to note that these insurances do not cover certain damages or losses, and they are very basic insurances. Therefore, we recommend and request that all dioceses, parishes, religious organizations, and travel agencies, as well as their respective pilgrims, please acquire adequate comprehensive travel insurance in their country of origin, regardless of the chosen destination, including possible cancellation expenses. The company LA MERCA COMPANY LLC and its subsidiaries LA MERCA TRAVEL and TRINITOURS are not responsible for loss, damage to luggage, accidents during travel, or illness that causes the loss of part of the itinerary or even the return to the country of origin. The Company is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes to flight routes, as well as for illness or even the loss of life of any passenger. Any diocese, parish, religious organization, or travel agency contracting our services is aware that LA MERCA COMPANY LLC and its subsidiaries LA MERCA TRAVEL and TRINITOURS only act as intermediaries between the contracting party and the local tour operator at the destination.

It is essential that you (dioceses, parishes, religious organizations, travel agencies – business partners) are aware that our Guaranteed Departures, as well as custom trips, DO NOT include Medical Expenses Insurance during walking transfers, tours, and transfers in and out of the bus, visits to parks and historical places, as well as any personal outings for shopping, voluntary walks during free time, or going out for lunch or dinner on your own during the afternoon or evening, or any breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as any other activity that may or may not be part of the expedition. We strongly recommend purchasing a Medical Expenses Insurance to obtain greater protection.

When undertaking this expedition, you and your families are aware of everything expressed in this document related to Medical Expenses Insurance. We recommend and ask you once again to please purchase Medical Expenses Insurance for your trips as an additional preventive and protective measure in case of any unforeseen event. This is for your benefit and that of your families.

PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS, AND BANK TRANSFERS

Payment for our services can be made through ZELLE transfer (bank accounts in the United States). Payments can also be made through a Bank Transfer. Every Bank Transfer involves two costs: the local bank charges and the intermediary bank charges that perform the international transfer. Both charges must be paid at the origin, that is, by the diocese, parish, religious organization, or travel agency sending the Bank Transfer. It is your responsibility to provide precise instructions to your Bank. That way, we will receive the total net invoiced amount, and no deductions will be made for charges that do not pertain to us. For credit card payments, a 3.5% additional charge will apply.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

• 30% upon confirmation of the reservation.
• 30% up to 90 calendar days before the start of the pilgrimage.
• 40% up to 45 calendar days before the start of the pilgrimage.
• In the event that the diocese, parish, religious organization, or travel agency fails to pay the full amount by the predefined date as stated above, LA MERCA COMPANY LLC and its subsidiaries LA MERCA TRAVEL and TRINITOURS reserve the right to set aside the deposit and retain it for a future pilgrimage of the passenger who has defaulted, while reserving the right to cancel their place on the current trip.

GENERAL CONDITIONS – RESPONSIBILITY

LA MERCA COMPANY LLC and its subsidiaries LA MERCA TRAVEL and TRINITOURS declare that they act solely as intermediaries between the dioceses, parishes, religious organizations, and travel agencies, and the transportation companies, hotels, restaurants, and other local service providers in the destination countries. Therefore, they decline all responsibility for losses, theft, accidents, delays, acts of God, strikes, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other causes. LA MERCA COMPANY LLC and its subsidiaries LA MERCA TRAVEL and TRINITOURS reserve the right to cancel or modify, or not to refund in case of the occurrence of phenomena such as TSUNAMIS, EARTHQUAKES, AND OUTBREAKS OF WAR.

Prices are per person in USD (U.S. dollars), based on double occupancy, unless otherwise indicated in the itinerary.
